- Remove wheel: Carefully remove the old tire from the bandsaw wheel. This may require assistance due to the weight of the wheel.
- Protect wheel: Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry the tire away from the wheel, being cautious not to damage the wheel's surface.
- Wear gloves: Protect your hands from pinching or rough edges by wearing gloves.
- Position wheel: Place the wheel on the floor with the tire seated in the wheel's channel.
- Pull tire: Grab the tire's sides and pull outward and upward to stretch it onto the wheel.
- Seat tire: Use a flat-head screwdriver to seat the tire evenly around the wheel.
- Secure tire: Use cable ties or clamps and a block of wood to secure the tire at opposite sides of the wheel.
- Install half tire: Pull one-half of the tire onto the wheel.
- Flip wheel: Turn the wheel over and repeat the process for the other side.
- Seat tire: Use a flat-head screwdriver to seat the tire evenly around the wheel.
