Shipping costs vary by item type and destination, with freight shipping for large/heavy items at flat rates shown on product pages. Non-freight items qualify for free standard shipping if totaling $150 or if combined with freight items. Special Shipping items have fixed fees and don't count toward free shipping. Digital items and gift certificates have no shipping charges. Rates differ outside the lower 48 US states.
Shipping Rates and Free Shipping
Shipping costs depend on the types of items in your order and where the order is shipping. Products may use freight shipping, standard shipping, or a special flat-rate shipping method.
Freight Shipping
Some larger or heavier items require freight shipping. Freight carriers use different pricing than standard ground carriers and may require special equipment to deliver your order safely.

Freight Shipping Within the Lower 48 States
Each freight item has a flat shipping rate. The rate is shown on the product page and again at checkout.
The flat rate is based on the average cost to ship the item. Freight charges are affected by the shipment’s weight and size. Because of this, ordering several freight items together may not greatly reduce the shipping cost for each item.
Freight shipping is not included in the product price. This allows customers to purchase an item in a showroom or use their own carrier when available. Freight charges usually cannot be waived or reduced.
Orders with Freight and Non-Freight Items
If your order contains a freight item, any qualifying non-freight items in the same order receive free standard shipping. The non-freight items do not need to total $150. The flat shipping rate for the freight item still applies.
Items marked “Special Shipping” are not included in this offer. Their listed shipping fees still apply.
Freight Shipping Outside the Lower 48 States
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada require a custom freight quote because rates vary by location.
Standard Non-Freight Shipping
Standard shipping rates are based on the total price of the qualifying non-freight merchandise in your order.
The following do not count toward that merchandise total:
- Freight items
- Items marked “Special Shipping”
- Digital items, such as software and South Bend Serial Cards
- Gift certificates
- Added shipping services, such as liftgate service

- The qualifying non-freight merchandise totals at least $150, or
- The order also contains an item that requires freight shipping
The order must ship within the lower 48 US states. Freight charges, Special Shipping fees, and charges for added shipping services still apply.
Items Marked “Special Shipping”
Items marked “Special Shipping” have a fixed shipping fee based on their size and weight.
These items do not count toward the $150 free standard shipping minimum. Their shipping fees are not waived when the rest of an order qualifies for free shipping.

Digital Items and Gift Certificates
Digital items and gift certificates do not have standard shipping charges. However, their prices do not count toward the $150 free standard shipping minimum.
Added Shipping Services
Charges for added services, such as liftgate service, do not count toward the $150 minimum and are not covered by free standard shipping.
