Freight Shipping

Some larger or heavier items require freight shipping. Freight carriers use different pricing structures than ground services and often require special equipment to deliver your order safely. Please see How do I receive freight deliveries? for more details on accepting freight shipments.

Within the lower 48 states:

• We offer a flat rate freight shipping cost, shown on each product’s page and again at checkout.

  • This flat rate is based on the average cost to ship that item. Freight LTL (Less Than Truckload) charges are calculated using the shipment weight and dimensions. That means even if you order multiple items together, the cost per item is usually close to the flat rate shown.

  • To remain flexible for customers who purchase in the showroom or use their own carrier, freight shipping costs are not included in the item pricing. We’re not able to waive or reduce freight costs in most cases.

Shipping outside the lower 48?
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada require a custom freight quote due to varying rates.

Standard (Non-Freight) Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on most orders of $100 or more (merchandise total, before tax). This applies to non-freight items shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Mixed Orders (Freight + Non-Freight)

If you order qualifying non-freight items along with freight items, the non-freight portion of your order will qualify for free standard shipping.

My Order is over $100, Why don't I see free shipping?

Free shipping does not apply to:

• Orders shipping outside the lower 48 US states have different rates. Please refer to these articles for more details:
  • How do you handle shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico?
  • Do you ship to Canada?
  • Do you ship to countries other than the USA and Canada?
• Items labeled as "Special Shipping"
  • These have flat-rate shipping fees based on their weight and size. These rates are fixed to maintain competitive pricing and cannot be waived or adjusted. Each item's shipping rate is shown on its product page and at checkout.

These items do not have shipping charges applied, but also do not count towards the free shipping minimum:

• Digital items (e.g., software, South Bend Serial Cards)
• Gift certificates
• Additional shipping services, such as liftgate service.
