We'll demonstrate the entire conversion process in real-time, showing how swift and easy it is to switch between functions, making the G0634X a highly convenient and functional tool for woodworking.
We've also included the step-by-step instructions below so you can follow along.
- Unplug the Machine from Power
- Remove the Cutter Head Guard - Head to the front of the machine and remove the cutter head guard.
- Remove the Fence Assembly:
- Unlock the lock lever.
- Move the fence forward. This allows the cutter head guard (connected to the fence) to clear.
- Set the fence assembly aside.
- Lift the Joiner Tables:
- Unlock the table lock levers.
- Lift each table upward until you hear the lock pin set in place.
- Pivot the Dust Port - Pivot the dust port from the joiner mode to planer mode. This disengages the limit switch.
- Raise the Selection Lever - Raise the selection lever to the up position. This engages the planar feed rollers and should only be used in this position when in planer mode.
- Connect to Power
- Rotate the Emergency Stop Button - The machine is now ready to plane.
