• Always disconnect the machine from power before making adjustments.
• Wear appropriate safety gear, including safety glasses and hearing protection.

1. Gather tools: Assemble the necessary tools, including wrenches, a straight edge, and the provided hardware.
2. Read manual: Review the user manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.

4. Change feed rate gearing: Replace the installed gears with the 57-tooth and 22-tooth gears to reduce the feed rate to 12 feet per minute.
5. Remove dust collection: Disconnect and remove the dust collection assembly and chip deflector.
6. Install molding fences and bed board: Attach the fence guide rod, molding fences, and bed board using the included hardware. Adjust the fence guide rod brackets for proper fence alignment.

7. Access cutter head: Loosen the gib set screws and remove the gibs and planer knives.
8. Install molding knives: Insert the molding knives into the cutter head, using the L gauge for alignment. Tighten the gib set screws evenly.
9. Adjust roller height: Loosen the locknuts on the infeed and outfeed roller posts. Raise the rollers to lightly contact the workpiece. Tighten the locknuts after adjustments.

10. Test and adjust: Run test cuts to fine-tune knife alignment and roller pressure. Adjust as needed.
11. Reassemble: Reinstall the dust collection assembly and chip deflector.

• Support the workpiece on the outfeed side to prevent binding.
