- What are the differences between all of the G1023 series table saws?
The G1023S is our basic cabinet table saw, but with the upgraded Shop Fox Classic Fence. The G1023Z has a rail-mounted switch, a hinged motor cover, and Shop Fox fence. The G1023ZX is the same as the G1023S, but with a 5 HP motor. - What is the maximum stack dado head width I can use with this saw?
The saw arbor will allow a stack of 13/16". - Does this machine have a dust port?
No. However, our G1838 can be easily adapted to fit this saw. - Can I put an upgraded after-market fence on this saw?
Yes. The table is a standard 27" deep. Some aftermarket fences may require modifications to mount the rails. - What is the maximum width of cut I can make to the right of the blade?
This saw will rip a maximum of 25" to the right of the blade and 8" to the left. - How many V-belts are on this machine?
This machine is equipped with 3 matched V-belts. - Are there other motors available for this machine?
Yes. Grizzly carries 3 and 5 HP motors for this saw. - Can I order this machine without the motor?
No. The labor cost for us to remove the stock motor would offset any savings realized if you were able to buy this machine without the motor. We suggest you privately sell the stock motor if you want to change the motor. - What are the CFM requirements for a dust collector?
A dust collector should handle 450 cubic feet of air volume for a 10" table saw. This figure is an average number, but it depends on many factors such as the length of the hose to the dust collector and the overall efficiency of your dust collection system. - Which way does the blade tilt?
The blade tilts to the right as you face the saw from the operator's position.
