The G1022Z has cast iron wings and a redesigned fence with T-slots. The G1022SM has stamped metal wings and fewer features than the Z series saws. The other Z series saws have some additional features like upgraded aftermarket fences and bigger motors. - What is the maximum stack dado head width I can use with this saw?
The saw arbor will allow a stack of 13/16" - How do I install a dust hood on this machine?
Our model G2480 Dust Hood will fit with a plywood or sheet metal adapter mounted between the saw body and stand. Make the adapter the same size as the top of the stand, and center the dust hood on the adapter. Cut a square hole in the adapter that is the same size as the inside flange of the dust hood. Pre-drill and mount the dust hood to the adapter with sheet metal screws. - What is the maximum width of cut to the right of the blade with the standard and extension rails?
The maximum width of cut with standard rails is 24" and the maximum width with the optional extension rails is 48". - Is there a larger motor available for my G1022?
Yes. This saw accepts all 3450 RPM motors with a NEMA 56 frame and a 5/8" shaft. - What are the CFM requirements for a dust collector?
A dust collector should handle 450 cubic feet of air volume for a 10" table saw. This figure is an average number, but depends on many factors such as the length of hose to the dust collector and overall efficiency of your dust collection system. - Can I put an upgraded after-market fence on this saw?
Yes. The table is a standard 27" deep. Some aftermarket fences may require modifications to mount the rails. - Which way does the blade tilt.
The blade tilts to the right as you face the saw from the operator's position.
