This machine has rubber feed rollers.
Will your System Cutterhead knives work in this planer?
No, the System Cutterhead knives are designed for a completely different system and will not work with this planer.
What size is the dust port?
The dust port is 4" in diameter.
I have molding knives from a 2-knife system other than Grizzly. Will they work in this machine?
No, the G1037 uses a three-knife system. Using fewer than three knives will cause the cutterhead to be unbalanced.
Where do I get the guide track that is used to guide the molding?
Due to the wide range of possibilities for making molding guides, Grizzly leaves this up to the customer to fabricate as described in the owner's manual.
What are the CFM requirements for a dust collector?
This is difficult to answer due to variables such as the distance to the collector, moisture content of the wood, and the depth of cut. With a distance of 10 feet or less, you may be able to use a dust collector with as little as 450 CFM. However, when sizing a dust collector, bigger is better.
