Safety Equipment
- One-direction board buddies: These prevent the board from reversing and keep it pressed against the fence.
- Magnetic feather boards: These act as anti-kickback fingers, preventing the board from recoiling and protecting your hands from the blade.
Setup
- Position board buddies: Place board buddies on the infeed side of the saw to guide the board and keep it pressed against the fence.
- Install feather boards: Secure a magnetic feather board on the infeed side with the top facing up to hold the board against the fence.
- Additional protection: Place another feather board on the outfeed side to provide extra support and keep the board against the fence.
- Use push stick: Maintain a safe distance from the blade by using a push stick.
