Every Grizzly, Shop Fox, and South Bend machine has a data plate (ID label) that lists the serial number and manufacture date.
The plate is usually attached to the frame, base, or back of the machine.
On smaller tools, it may be found on the motor housing or a side panel.
The label is metal or heavy-duty sticker, and will say “Serial No.” or “S/N”.
You’ll need this information when requesting warranty parts or support. If you have trouble finding it, you can look at the specifications tab on the machine page for details on the location, or contact us for help.
