When is this year's sale?
Our 2026 Missouri Tent Sale will be held on June 6, 2026.
What kind of items are sold at the tent sale?
The Tent Sale features a wide variety of deeply discounted items, including:
- Scratch‑and‑dent machines

Inventory changes continuously during the sale and moves quickly.
Is there a preview of items before the sale?
Yes. We post a sneak preview on our Facebook page one to two days before the event.
Can I contact Grizzly beforehand to ask what will be available or what the prices will be?
No. To keep things fair for all customers, we do not share details about available items or pricing ahead of time, other than the preview posted on Facebook.
Are Scratch & Dent items available before the sale?
Throughout the year, both our Springfield, MO and Bellingham, WA showrooms have dedicated outlet areas for scratch‑and‑dent items. However, Tent Sale‑specific items are not sold early.
What are the sale hours?
- Tent Sale: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Showroom: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Arrive early for the best selection.
How early should I arrive?
As early as possible. The Tent Sale often draws a large turnout, and the best items go quickly. Customers frequently line up well before opening, and lines may begin forming hours ahead.
Are there demonstrations, giveaways, or special guests?
Yes, we usually have live demonstrations from special guests, along with door prices and giveaways.
Are there hotels nearby?
Yes. Many hotels are close to the showroom. We also partner with Homewood Suites by Hilton to offer discounted rates. Click HERE for details.
Where do I park? Is there a shuttle?
During the sale, the main showroom lot is reserved for tents and the loading area.
Please park in the lot in front of our freight warehouse across Battlefield Rd.
A shuttle is provided from 6:30 AM until the end of the sale.
Scratch & Dent Item Information
Are Scratch & Dent items available for online purchase?
No. Scratch & Dent items are not listed online and cannot be purchased online. They are only sold in person at the Springfield, MO and Bellingham, WA locations.
How do I know the condition of a Scratch & Dent item?
- Small items have a tag with a brief description of the condition.
- Large machines have a detailed label describing any missing parts or cosmetic/functional issues.

Do Scratch & Dent items come with a warranty?
Unless specifically marked otherwise, all Scratch & Dent items are sold As‑Is and do not come with a warranty.
Can Scratch & Dent items be returned?
No. All Scratch & Dent items are final sale, so we strongly recommend inspecting the item carefully and reading the condition tags before purchasing.
If I buy a new machine with a warranty, how do I request service?
Contact us for assistance. Be sure to have your:
- Receipt
- Serial number
- Manufacture date
We’ll help with troubleshooting and send warranty parts as needed.
Purchasing Process
How do I purchase a Scratch & Dent item?
- Small items: Load into a cart or carry them to the outdoor cashier station.

Large machines:
- Remove only the top copy of the two‑part Scratch & Dent tag.
- Take the top copy to the outdoor cashier.
- The bottom copy must remain on the machine.
- After paying, proceed to the pickup/loading area where staff will retrieve and load your items.

Can I place an item on hold?
No. All As‑Is items must be paid for the same day and cannot be held for later purchase.
Can I purchase parts during the sale?
Yes. Our Parts Department is open during the sale.
Do I need two separate purchases for Tent items and showroom items?
Yes:
- Tent Sale items are purchased outside.
- New showroom items are purchased inside.
How long do I have to pay for a Scratch & Dent item?
Scratch & Dent tags are re‑tagged every two hours until sold. Pay promptly to ensure you don’t lose your item.
What if I don’t pay within two hours?
Please return the tag to a sales associate so it can be reattached or replaced. Do not throw the tag away. Please give it to a staff member instead if you change your mind about purchasing.

Can I use my tax exemption at the sale?
Yes. If you don’t already have an exemption on file, we will provide instructions to submit your documentation. Once verified, you can receive a refund on sales tax paid.

Item Pickup & Transportation
Where do I pick up my items?
- Small items: Bring them with you after purchase.
- Large machinery: Must be picked up from the designated loading area. The cashier will provide directions.
How do I pick up large items?
After purchasing, head to the pickup/loading area, where our staff will retrieve your items and load them into your vehicle.
Can I pick up my items another day?
No. All Tent Sale items must be picked up the same day.
Can Tent Sale items be shipped?
No. Tent Sale items are pickup only and cannot be shipped.
However, new showroom items purchased inside may be shipped.
Additional Customer Tips & Common Questions
How competitive is the sale?
Popular items can sell almost immediately. Customers often head straight to the tent containing the machine they want. Going in with a plan helps.
Do items ever become available later in the day?
Yes. If a customer decides not to purchase an item, the tag is returned and the machine becomes available again.
Are items boxed or crated?
Most tent‑sale items are open‑box, unboxed, or partially crated due to their return/scratch‑and‑dent nature. Expect to transport them accordingly.
Do I need to bring straps, blankets, or equipment?
We recommend bringing:
- Ratchet straps
- Moving blankets
- A trailer or truck for larger machines
Our staff assists with loading, but securing the load is the customer’s responsibility.
Do people camp out or line up very early?
While we do not officially encourage or host overnight camping, customers have historically arrived very early, sometimes hours before opening, to secure high‑demand items.
