Will other brand chisels fit into this machine?
Yes, it comes with a bushing to hold 5/8" diameter chisel housings as well as 3/4".

What size is the chuck?
The chuck is 3/8".

How much travel does the head have?
The head has 4 3/4" of travel.

How deep will the chisels cut?

• 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" chisels will cut up to 2" deep.
• 1/2" and 5/8" chisels will cut up to 3" deep.

How thick of material can I use/input into the machine?
The machine can handle material up to 4" thick.

I'm trying to mount the chisel in the machine, but it seems like the drill is too long for the chisel housing. What is wrong?
The drills may be too long due to varying chuck sizes on different machines. The shank of the drill may need to be cut off to fit properly in the housing.
