⚙️ General Information
Is this saw suitable for professional woodworking or cabinetmaking?
Yes. Both models are designed for precision panel cutting, furniture making, and cabinet work. Their sliding table and scoring blade systems produce clean, accurate cuts with minimal tear-out.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly and setup take approximately 1-1/2 hours, including sliding table, crosscut fence, and extension table installation.
What is the overall footprint and workspace required?
With the sliding table and fence installed, allow roughly 7 feet lateral and 6 feet front-to-back for full cutting range and material handling.
Where are the machines made and are they certified?
Both are manufactured in Taiwan in ISO 9001-certified factories.
G0623X: Certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL)
G0623X3: Not NRTL-certified
⚡ Power & Electrical
What voltage and phase do the machines require?
G0623X: 230V, single-phase, 30A circuit
G0623X3: 220V or 440V, 3-phase
18A at 220V, 9A at 440V
30A circuit at 220V, 15A at 440V
Do these saws come with a power cord or plug?
No.
G0623X: Use an S-Type, 3-wire, 12 AWG, 300 VAC cord with L6-30 plug.
G0623X3: Use an S-Type, 4-wire, 10 AWG, 300 VAC cord with L15-30 plug for 220V. A voltage conversion kit is available for 440V (G440VG0623X3).
What type of switch do the saws use?
Both have a magnetic switch with overload protection.
Can the G0623X3 be run with a phase converter?
Yes. We recommend the G5845 Phase Converter for 3-phase operation if 3-phase power is not available.
🪚 Cutting Capacity & Blade Details
What size blades do these saws use?
Main Blade: 10" diameter, 5/8" arbor
Scoring Blade: 3-1/8" diameter, 22 mm arbor
What are the blade speeds?
Main Blade: 4000 RPM
Scoring Blade: 8000 RPM
Can a dado blade be used?
Yes. Both saws support dado blades up to 13/16" wide, with a 5/8" arbor. Remove the scoring blade and use a zero-clearance insert for the dado.
What diameter dado blade is recommended?
We recommend an 8" dado blade, such as the T26696, to maintain accuracy.
Can the scoring blade kerf be adjusted?
Yes. Both models have adjustable scoring knife kerf to match the main blade width.
What are the max cutting capacities?
Depth of Cut 90°: 3-1/8"
Depth of Cut 45°: 2-1/4"
Rip Fence Max Cut Width: 33"
Sliding Table Max Cut Width: 78-1/2"
Sliding Table Max Cut Length: 63"
Miter Fence Max Cut Width at 45°: 63"
Can the saws crosscut or rip full 4' x 8' sheets?
Crosscut: Both models can crosscut full 48" x 96" sheets with the sliding table.
Rip: The sliding table is not long enough for a full-length rip cut, but it can be done if the fence is removed and extra material support is provided.
🪵 Table, Fence & Construction
What are the table & extension constructed of?
Main Table: Precision-ground cast iron
Large Extension Table (P0623X0401): Cast iron
Small Extension Table (P0623X0422): Welded steel
Sliding Table: Aluminum
Crosscut Fence: Steel tubing
What type of fence system does it have?
Both saws feature a single-lever locking extruded aluminum fence with two adjustable stops.
Do they have a riving knife and blade guard?
Adjustable riving knife included on both models
Blade guard removable; includes a 2-1/2" dust port
Can the saw be mounted on a mobile base?
Yes. The T28923 mobile base can support the main footprint. Adjust feet to ensure full support.
🌬️ Dust Collection & Maintenance
What size are the dust ports?
Two ports per saw: 4" main and 2-1/2" on the blade guard.
Recommended dust collector: 800–1000 CFM for optimal performance.
