How do you move the head up and down?
Loosen the two headstock locking nuts on the right side near the back.
Use the head crank to raise or lower the head.
Rotate the headstock by hand if needed.
Re-tighten the locking nuts to secure.
Can this machine mill out butt hinges in aluminum extrusion 1/8” thick?
Yes. With the correct cutter, the G0705 can mill 1/8" thick aluminum. Always review spindle-to-table distance to confirm your setup allows enough clearance.

Is the G0705 Mill/Drill available without the stand?
No. The 8" x 29" 2 HP Mill/Drill (G0705) is only available as a complete unit with the stand. However, Grizzly offers other machines that do not include a stand. For options, contact Product Support.
