What is the minimum board width recommendation?
There is no specified minimum width. The hardness of your material is key—softer woods may chip under roller pressure. Using sacrificial boards allows you to plane very thin workpieces.

How many carbide inserts are in the helical cutterhead?
The cutterhead has two spiral rows and includes 30 carbide inserts.

Can I get a dust hood with the connection on the opposite side?
No, the dust hood connection is fixed and cannot be moved.
