No, it does not include a carriage lock. However, aligning the table wings and properly supporting your workpiece can help minimize snipe.
Are the infeed and outfeed rollers rubber or steel?

Snipe is when a board is cut deeper at the beginning or end during planing. Itās caused by uneven pressure or poor support and can be reduced with proper setup and support.
How easy is it to install and set new knives?

What is the minimum board width recommendation?
There is no specified minimum width. The hardness of your material is keyāsofter woods may chip under roller pressure. Using sacrificial boards allows you to plane very thin workpieces.
How many carbide inserts are in the helical cutterhead?
The cutterhead has two spiral rows and includes 30 carbide inserts.

Can I get a dust hood with the connection on the opposite side?
No, the dust hood connection is fixed and cannot be moved.
What is the part number for the 2" to 4" dust port adapter?
