A: Yes. The T32459Z features an upgraded motor and control board to resolve previous issues.
Q: What is the measurement from the work table to the top of the platen?
A: The distance is 4 inches, allowing space for bevel jigs while maintaining contact with the platen.
Belt & Grinding Capabilities
Q: Will this grinder work with 2" x 48" belts?
A: Yes. While designed for 2" x 42" belts, it can also accommodate belts up to 48" in length.
Q: Will this accommodate 1" x 42" belts?
A: No. It is only compatible with 2" wide belts.
Q: Can the belt be adjusted side-to-side on the platen?
A: No. The platen does not support side-to-side adjustability.
Q: Can the platen be removed?
A: Yes. The machine can be used without the platen. See page 29 of the manual for instructions.
Q: Do you offer a platen that matches the belt width for bevel or plunge line grinding?
A: No. A narrower platen is not available for this model.
Q: Can other grinding attachments be added, such as a small wheel attachment?
A: No. Additional grinding attachments are not supported.
Q: Do you offer an adjustable-angle knife sharpening guide that matches the platen width?
A: No. Accessories like this are not available for the T32459Z.
Q: Can the belt guards be removed for grinding curves on the wheels?
A: No. The guards are safety features and should not be removed. The aluminum rollers are not designed for that type of grinding.
